Sometimes the national anthem at high school track meets can be a bit painful to listen to, but we were fortunate to hear a fantastic one by a high school junior this week. I must say the effects at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child were fantastic. The play was good for those of us who are steeped in the lore. I imagine it was inaccessible for those who aren’t. Google Maps now infuriatingly will automatically change my route while driving. In one example this week I choose a route going south to north through St. Paul, choosing to add 5-10 minutes while avoiding likely heavier traffic in Minneapolis. Halfway to the I-35 fork, I had been rerouted to Minneapolis. I was able to switch my route in the midst of traffic, but then the map switched my original route for when I got north of St. Paul to another route that I did not want.
