Pokemon: Battle Frontier – Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World – 29 Jan 2010

The first recording today is Pokemon: Battle Frontier – The King and Queen for a Day. We’ve moved on from Battle Dimension so I’m sure we’ll have a whole new set of problems for our heroes. Ash and friends (Brock, May and young Max) arrive at their next destination by boat after winning another battle. When they arrive they are immediately greeted by Jessie and James, telling them that they’re the 777th visitor, so they’ve won a free massage. And naturally, they don’t recognise Team Rocket at all despite them not remotely looking disguised. I guess I was wrong about new story ideas. They go to the massage tent, and Team Rocket lock them in place and reveal themselves. There’s some battling, before the tent is blown away, but it takes Team Rocket, Pikachu and Ash’s Bonsly too. Team Rocket are separated from the tent, which takes Pikachu, Bonsly, James’s Mime Jr. and Meowth elsewhere in the city. They’re menaced by three goons in a black car. Meowth breaks the habit of a lifetime and…
