This reply is to the reply from scribblupam. I 100% agree with you. I'm from Puerto Rico, and I love living here because I can interact with people at the supermarket and their mostly wholesome interactions. We can talk about life and part our ways, we help each other out etc. I lived in the State of Missouri, US for a while and I hated how weird/dry most people were to each other. So I understand where the idea that nobody smiles comes from. However, I believe that to see change, we should serve as example. Smile first, talk first, help first, and slowly but surely you'll start seeing how things change.
