I’m switching up from the auto-generated now page; to some hybrid approach. The generated one is fine, but felt a bit… automated. Key things that are happening now, as of May 2026… I’m 18 months into working at Beacon CRM. We’re currently working on a big migration from Postgres to Google Spanner. It’s full on, there’s much learn there. I’m still working out what to do and what I think about the whole AI coding thing. I can’t seem to move for talk of it at the moment. It’s making the aforementioned Spanner migration a lot quicker, but I’m still trying to work out how I want to use it. Church is exploring starting a morning service, kicking off in September. There’s a lot to think about in that. Small boy is a lot less small. He’s getting some good words in him (🍌 banana is a favourite).
