A return to basics Developer: Digital Dream Publisher: Digital Dream Release Date: February 7th, 2002 Available On: Wonderswan Genre(s): Shoot ‘Em Up (horizontal), Sci-fi Even if you’re deep in the mecha anime sauce, there’s a good chance you don’t have nice things to say about Run=Dim. Y’know, assuming you’ve even seen it. In a lot of ways, it’s a fascinating production; it’s a Japanese-South Korean show co-produced by Idea Factory, the lovely folks responsible for Spectral Tower among many other things that are, let’s say, interesting. It was only 13 episodes long, uses a CGI animation style that definitely has not aged gracefully, and has pretty rough reviews no matter where you look. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it, go find it on Youtube and be ready to be amazed because boy is it ugly! Granted, it’s ugly in a way that’s downright charming to me, a person who liked Cubix: Robots for Everyone as a kid (I weirdly was not a Reboot guy), but I’m sure as heck not gonna try to…
