Plex’s unveils bold move to get people to use Jellyfin

Plex announced today a price hike on the lifetime Plex Pass from $249.99 to $749.99 starting July 1st and you’re already googling how to set up Jellyfin aren’t you? While the lifetime Plex Pass is making a 300% jump, the month-to-month options are not. You’re significantly more valuable to them as a subscription member than a one-and-done member with a lifetime pass.
