The pre-winter for a tropical girly

Daily writing promptHow do you feel about cold weather?View all responses I woke up at 7 AM this morning, it was 6 C. I went back to bed. I was freezing, and I couldn’t move properly. I slept in until 11 AM. It then became 10 C, and the water was icy cold. I washed the dishes like I normally do, but it felt like my fingers are going to fall off. I will buy gloves later today. I washed my face. It felt like the pores in my entire face closed. I haven’t showered in days, and I’m building the confidence to take a shower sometime today. I couldn’t focus, my entire body is shaking. I now write this tucked in bed watching a true crime video. I will continue working from bed. I need to buy new clothes — and learn how to make mate.
